What the Hell Am I Blathering About?

This blog began as a production journal for my final project at Hampshire College, a musical I wrote called Singled Out. It tells the story of a town in which singing is seen as a mental disorder. Through my final year at Hampshire, I wrote it, gathered a ragtag crew of faculty and fellow students to help me, and at the end of the year, the show went up. We packed them in, and I graduated, still riding the crest of that high and beautiful wave.

As for the blog, it almost immediately exploded into something larger than a way for my faculty advisors to keep track of me. These days, it is a platform for all kinds of creative work and an outlet for my explorations of many themes in my life, such as theatre, music, writing, science, politics, philosophy, religion, and the transformation of people leading to the transformation of the world.

Welcome! Enjoy!

I still get “Victoria” stuck in my head, which is really frustrating because the only lyric I know is “Victoria”.
