I have been thinking a lot about my blog recently; how little I’ve been using it to its fullest potential, how writing in it started to feel like a chore, something to dread rather than something to delight in. It scares me, and so I have decided to give it a bit of a boost. I have big plans for this blog – I will be using it not only to promote my existing projects such as Singled Out and Project Balladeer, but I will be linking it with others, such as my YouTube channel, my new musical act Dr. Josh & the GuiTARDIS, and getting input and feedback from a wider variety of people than ever before. Don’t worry – there will still be plenty of the old stuff in here, the theatre and politics and cultural criticism and poetry, but it will be joined by a bunch of new neighbors including musings on science, the geek/nerd/fandom communities that I belong to, literature reviews, musical discoveries, and more.
So, what is Archimedes’ Fulcrum? How is it different from . . . that other blog that it used to be?
Archimedes’ Fulcrum is the geeky music of lonestar crickets.
Archimedes’ Fulcrum is a birdhouse in your soul.
Archimedes’ Fulcrum is David Icke’s worst nightmare
Archimedes’ Fulcrum is toe jam on feet crackers
Archimedes’ Fulcrum is distilled starlight
Archimedes’ Fulcrum is a paper airplane made from an in-flight magazine
Archimedes’ Fulcrum is where you stand when you behold the cosmic disco ball
Archimedes’ Fulcrum is the best seat in the house.
Enjoy.
